Hey, I'm Shea Wells. I was born in Cincinnati and I'm currently a student at Georgia Tech studying Computer Engineering with a minor in Computing & Intelligence. Much of my livelihood as a child stemmed from the increasing and decreasing of entropy, the assembly and disassembly of everything. I was enthralled by legos (and still am) and astonished by computers (and still am).
The ability to develop computer software and hardware has been the best way to satiate my desire to create. I strive to create tools that empower students to learn efficiently so that they may concentrate their time not on the trivial tasks, but on the crucial ones.
I develop software tools for education that allow students to maximize their learning efficiency.
I design websites and digital graphics for non-profit organizations and businesses alike.
I aim to turn ideas into impactful, viable products.
Java, C++, and Objective-C programs developed for students, websites designed for companies, and computer hardware engineered for businesses.

Programming is probably my greatest passion. I've taken 6 years of Java, computer science, and data structures courses. Additionally, I've taken web design courses on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and iOS courses on Objective-C, Xcode, and application development. However, the primary source of my programming knowledge is from the experience of creating my own software. My most successful pieces of software are programs that decline and synopsize Latin words.
The summer before my senior year of high school, I gained experience through an internship at medical device development company Brockman-Hastings LLC. I worked with Dr. J. Todd Hastings, Chief Technology Officer and Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Kentucky, to create an Objective-C iPhone application that analyzed eye pressure sensor image data sets.
Also, I've been hired to design the official websites of non-profit organizations and for-profit businesses.

I bought my first camera when I was 9 years old and have been enthusiastically taking pictures ever since. My subjects range from flying birds to sports cars, from hot springs to lens caps. All pictures seen on this website are taken by me personally.
My first movie, produced on the inexplicably slow family computer, documented the comedic misadventures of a run-away boy named Jorgie, whose humor very much reflected our humor as elementary schoolers. The editing software invariably crashed and my "actors'" attention invariably diverted, but a love for the process rooted itself inside me nonetheless.
As a self-taught guitarist and mandolinist, I love the challenge of playing and making music. The process gets my creative juices flowing while relieving stress. In addition to producing acoustic music, I enjoy creating and remixing electronic songs in my free time.
